The Collegiate Inn concept was the brainchild of Shivon Dosky and Kirk Johnson after attending a game at their alma mater. During their approximately three and one-half hour return drive home, they conceived of the idea as a way to provide athletic supporting alumni at all universities a way to own a hassle-free piece of their past. The Collegiate Inn concept will provide sports enthusiasts a convenient venue for socializing, lodging, and the enjoyment of a unique real estate opportunity.
The first Collegiate Inn site is in Blacksburg, Virginia and is in full operation. Two additional projects are planned for 2008. We anticipate having 8 Collegiate Inn locations fully operational or underway by 2010.
